Get back to school ready with Mobility Print

As many students around the world are on summer school holidays, perfecting their Minecraft worlds or longest Netflix binges, schools’ IT teams are busy preparing for the new semester.

Many schools currently using Google Cloud Print, with its looming deprecation, have IT teams tasked with finding an alternative solution.

We have the answer for you, Mobility Print.

Lexmark scanning and printing powered up in PaperCut 20.0

Great news, Lexmark users! We have two new features for you in PaperCut 20.0.

20.0 allows consistency and ease for Lexmark users. Now when you’re scanning you’ll have the same user experience as other brands.

So if you’re using Lexmark devices, let’s pop the hood (I’m not actually into cars) and see what’s revving the engine. (That’s car speak, right?)

What’s the scoop on Mobility Print in PaperCut 20.0?

Welcome to the third entry of our new blog series, “What’s the scoop on X in 20.0?”

In this installment, I sat down with product manager Willem Groenewald and discussed Mobility Print’s new Cloud Print feature, still in beta.

I picked Willem’s brain on what’s new and in the pipeline for PaperCut’s answer to Google Cloud Print.

What’s the scoop on Print Deploy in PaperCut 20.0?

Welcome back to our brand new blog series, “What’s the scoop on X in 20.0?”

To celebrate our release of 20.0 I’m chatting with PaperCutters about their feature’s latest enhancements for this year’s major build!

In our last installment we covered our new Epic integration, today it’s all about Print Deploy.

What to do after Google Cloud Print end of life

On 21 November 2019, Google announced that Google Cloud Print, their cloud-based printing solution that has been in beta since 2010, will no longer be supported as of December 31, 2020.

Here’s a quick cheat sheet that will help you choose the Google Cloud Print alternative that’s right for you.

What’s the scoop on Epic in PaperCut 20.0?

To celebrate the release of PaperCut 20.0 we’re starting a brand new series – “What’s the scoop on X in 20.0.”

We’ll be zooming in on all the shiny and sparkling nuts and bolts under the hood of this major build.

First up is the huge new Epic integration for the healthcare industry.

PaperCut 20.0 has come to town

PaperCut 20.0 is now available.

20.0 has new enhancements for Healthcare with Epic Systems integration! We’ve also made printing easier for users with new Print Deploy updates, and PaperCut MF is now even more resilient.

That’s not all, there’s so much more…

The homemade version of PaperCut MF is almost here

It’s almost that time. Time to take the wraps off a brand new version of PaperCut MF (ok, and NG as well).

While we’re waiting for release day (I’d give it a couple of weeks), I caught up with a couple of PaperCutters who were right in the thick of the 20.0 build.

Your free BYOD printing solution has arrived

So, here’s the thing. We just made a new printing solution.

Well, kinda new. It’s our super popular BYOD printing feature Mobility Print that comes with PaperCut MF and NG. Except as of today it’s a standalone product.

New in 19.1.3: Canon rebuilt from the ground up

Canon users, rejoice! PaperCut MF now includes scanning for Canon (or “Scannin’ for Canon” as we like to refer to it). Not only that, there’s a brand new embedded look and feel, and it’s 100 times nicer and easier to use than before. Maybe even 1,000 times nicer!

Here’s a quick overview of what’s inside the release for Canon fans.

My journey to Print Deploy and beyond

The release of Print Deploy in PaperCut 19.1 didn’t just happen. We spent months and months on the project to ensure it was ready to provide value from day one.

In this post, I take a little time out to reflect on my personal journey that’s taken me to the Print Deploy release.

TL;DR – I like to fix problems!
