A while back I wrote about a chat I had with Job Ticketing Product Owner Jacques Groenewald. The catch-up was prompted by the fancy Job Ticketing updates in PaperCut MF 18.1. Fortunately, I recorded the conversation, and present it to you now.
We’ve had lively debates here at PaperCut about 18.1’s biggest highlight.
Is it supporting end-to-end encryption on the network? Or perhaps Scan to Cloud Storage?
We can’t quite decide, but either way there’s plenty of great reasons to upgrade to 18.1.
PUA is how you keep your PaperCut installation up-to-date. You see, PaperCut isn’t a subscription licence – it’s perpetual. That means you buy it outright and it’s yours forever and ever and ever and … well, you get the drift.

The use of BYOD (‘Bring Your Own Device’ for those new to the term) in business means employees want to print from whatever device they’ve happened to bring in from home.
Up til now, that’s been a little tricky to manage from an IT POV. Not anymore though – thanks to Mobility Print now working happily with Mac and Linux servers.
